O conceito de identidade narrativa como construção psicológica mostra-nos o papel da narrativa biográfica na criação e reformulação da identidade do eu. A narrativa é um elemento fundamental para o acesso ao conhecimento e à construção da identidade. O exercício da narração implica uma construção com, e em resposta, às outras pessoas numa relação dialógica, que potencia a consciência e a identidade visual e coletiva. Estas narrativas digitais individuais podem ser instrumentos coletivos/comunitários potenciadores de
identificação etnicocultural e sociocultural.
Neste artigo os autores apresentam uma reflexão em que abordam o estudo das narrativas audiovisuais, com especial foco nas narrativas publicadas/partilhadas nas redes sociais, trazendo para discussão a análise da sua natureza fílmica, de média-arte digital e a ainda a sua dimensão intervencionista sociocultural.
The concept of narrative identity as a psychological construction shows us the role of the biographical narrative in creating and reformulating the identity of the self. The narrative is a fundamental element for access to knowledge and identity construction. The narration exercise implies a construction with, and in response to, other people in a dialogical relationship, which enhances awareness and visual and collective identity. These individual digital narratives can be collective/community tools that enhance ethnic-cultural and socio-cultural identification. In this article, the authors reflect on how they approach the study of audiovisual narratives, focusing on narratives published/shared on social networks, bringing to discussion the analysis of the filmic nature of digital media art and their interventionist socio-cultural dimension.
