No contexto da sociedade do conhecimento torna-se necessário apostar numa formação
docente que alie o uso das tecnologias à teoria e prática educativas reflexivas. A proposta que apresentamos neste trabalho tem como objetivo contribuir para uma melhoria do exercício profissional de professores de diferentes áreas curriculares, tendo em conta a utilização eficiente dos quadros interativos multimédia. Para o efeito promovemos uma ação de formação com o intuito de proporcionar aos professores conhecimentos que lhes permitissem
utilizar os quadros interativos de uma forma eficaz. Os dados recolhidos resultantes da
inquirição que fizemos aos professores permitem-nos concluir que estes consideram os
quadros importantes na sua prática, referindo inclusive que a sua utilização permite equacionar o processo de ensino-aprendizagem de forma diferente. Concluímos, ainda, que os professores estão bastante motivados para o uso destes quadros interativos, sublinhando a necessidade de continuar a frequentar ações de formação neste âmbito para se sentirem mais proficientes.
In the context of the knowledge society it becomes necessary to invest in teacher training that combines the use of technology with reflective educational theory and practice. The proposal presented in this paper aims at contributing to an improvement of the professional practice of teachers from different subject areas, taking into account the efficient use of multimedia interactive whiteboards. For that intent we have drawn up a teacher training programmer so as to provide teachers with skills that would enable them to use the whiteboard effectively in the classroom. The data collected resulting from the inquiry we have made led to the conclusion that teachers consider these tools important in their practice, referring that its use provides a different approach to the teaching and learning process. We also concluded that teachers are highly motivated for the use of whiteboards, however emphasizing the need to continue to attend training initiatives in this area to become more proficient.
