A Declaração de Bolonha (1999) foi um marco no âmbito das políticas de Educação Superior da União Europeia na construção de um modelo educativo que tem assumido características internacionais. Os programas de intercâmbios, mobilidade de estudantes, professores e pessoal administrativo e a integração das Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação à Educação têm fomentado novos desafios para as universidades. Um deles é incorporar a interculturalidade enquanto princípio educativo e comunicacional
para dar conta da diversidade cultural de estudantes oriundos de diferentes países. Trata-se de um estudo de natureza bibliográfica e documental com o objetivo de mapear políticas e programas sobre o ensino superior e seu caráter transnacional. Além disso, evidenciam-se enunciados sobre o papel da União Europeia na difusão de uma cultura educativa intercultural, com tendência a constituir-se em uma nova ordem educativa mundial.
The Bologna Declaration (1999) was a milestone in the policies of Higher Education of the European Union, the construction of an educational model that has taken on international characteristics. The exchange programs, mobilizing students, teachers and administrative staff and the integration of Information and Communication Technologies for Education have fostered new challenges for universities. One is to incorporate intercultural, educational and communicational as a principle to give against the cultural diversity of students from different countries. Mapping was policies and programs on higher education and its transnational character, it becomes clear statements about the European Union’s role in the dissemination of a culture intercultural education, with a tendency to form themselves into a new world order education.
