Abstract(s)
A Sociedade Digital afirma-se hoje, cada vez mais, como uma realidade incontornável e o seu forte ritmo de desenvolvimento tem colocado desafios particularmente significativos aos modelos, processos e práticas da Educação.
Constitui, para além dos novos desafios, a oportunidade para desenvolvermos o pensamento sobre a Educação Digital, a Distância e em Rede, inesperadamente reforçada pela crise pandémica que nos impôs a urgência de ação. Onde, anteriormente, se verificava a procura do enriquecimento educativo das comunidades de aprendizagem, construímos hoje, impulsionados pela força das circunstâncias e pela natural evolução do desenvolvimento neste domínio, a mudança dos cenários e contextos para a aprendizagem em rede.
Deste modo, são tempos tanto de emergência como de necessária reflexão face a uma nova “normalidade”, justificando na presente publicação uma atenção especial às dimensões e valências desta temática.
A Educação não pode ser planeada como um espaço de reprodução de saberes e práticas, mas deverá afirmar-se em liberdade na cultura de inovação para a sociedade da aprendizagem e do conhecimento em rede.
É este o sentido da presente publicação que procura contribuir para o desenvolvimento do pensamento neste domínio, através dos textos de investigadores do Brasil, de Inglaterra e de Portugal que nos apresentam as suas reflexões sobre o pensamento estratégico e as experiências pedagógicas para promover a mudança na Educação Digital.
Digital Society today is increasingly asserting itself as an unavoidable reality and its fast pace of development has risen particularly significant challenges to Education models, processes and practices. Not only it brings new challenges but also the opportunity to develop our thinking about Digital, Distance and Networked Education, unexpectedly reinforced by a pandemic crisis that imposed urgent action. Where we previously searched for the educational enrichment of learning communities, driven today by the strength of circumstances and the natural evolution of development in this area, we build the change of scenarios and contexts for network learning. These are therefore times of both emergence and necessary reflection upon such new “normality”, justifying a special attention to the dimensions and aspects of this theme in the present publication. Education cannot be planned as a space for the reproduction of knowledge and practices as it must assert itself freely in the culture of innovation for the society of learning and networked knowledge. Such is the purpose of this publication, seeking to contribute to the development of our thinking in this field, through the texts of researchers from Brazil, England and Portugal who present their thoughts on strategic thinking and pedagogical experiences to promote change in Digital Education.
