Abstract(s)
Neste texto assumem-se como principais objetivos os de apresentar
elementos e características de um evento científico online, identificar possibilidades de
construção de uma comunidade de prática através de eventos online, e analisar
aspetos que concorrem para a construção dessas comunidades de forma sustentável.
Assim, a análise resulta na caracterização de um evento online no contexto de
formação académica como parte de construção de espaços de comunidades de prática.
Este evento organizou-se como modelo para outras experiências no mesmo formato,
assíncrono online, integradas no Projeto PETI (Processos de Ensino, Tecnologias e
Inovação), liderado pela Universidade Aberta - Portugal, no qual participam vários
investigadores – portugueses, brasileiros e espanhóis – de diferentes instituições.
Conclui-se que eventos científicos online podem promover espaços informais de
construção de redes e comunidades virtuais de prática. Em particular, infere-se que a
comunidade das I JIO evidencia traços caracterizadores de uma comunidade de prática
e que, se reunidas condições futuras, poderá configurar-se enquanto comunidade
virtual de prática de sucesso.
In this text we aim at presenting characteristics of an online scientific event, at identifying possibilities of creating a virtual community of practice within online academic events, and analyzing aspects that enhance their creation in sustainable ways. Thus, our analysis results in the characterization of an online event in a research and teacher training context, which is partly responsible for the construction of a community of practice. The event was thought as to become a model for other online asynchronous experiences, included in the Projet “Teaching, Technologies and Innovation”, led by the Universidade Aberta - Open University of Portugal. Several researchers, of different higher education institutions and nationalities (Portuguese, Brazilian, and Spanish), participate in this project. Of the analyzed data, it can be concluded that online academic events can be viewed as informal spaces in the creation of networks and virtual communities of practice. Moreover, the first edition of the analyzed online event evidences characterizing traits of a community of practice that can become a successful virtual community of practice.
