O conceito de identidade narrativa como uma construção psicológica ilustra o papel da narrativa biográfica na formação e reformulação da identidade de uma pessoa. A narrativa é um elemento fundamental para a aquisição de conhecimentos e a construção da identidade. O exercício da narração envolve a co-construção
e a resposta aos outros numa relação dialógica, o que aumenta a consciência e a identidade individual e coletiva. As narrativas (auto)biográficas pessoais, quando assumem uma natureza digital e potencialmente interativa, podem funcionar como ferramentas comunitárias que reforçam a identificação étnico-cultural e sociocultural.
Neste artigo, os autores refletem sobre a sua abordagem ao estudo das narrativas (auto)biográficas audiovisuais. Concentram-se nas narrativas publicadas ou partilhadas nas redes sociais e examinam as suas dimensões à luz da média-arte digital, bem como o seu cariz sociocultural intervencionista.
The concept of narrative identity as a psychological construct illustrates the role of biographical narrative in shaping and reformulating one’s identity. Narrative serves as a fundamental element for acquiring knowledge and constructing identity. The exercise of narration involves co-constructing and responding to others within a dialogical relationship, which enhances awareness as well as individual and collective identity. Personal (auto)biographical narratives, when they assume a digital and potentially interactive nature, can function as communal tools that strengthen ethnic-cultural and socio-cultural identification. In this article, the authors reflect on their approach to studying audiovisual narratives. They concentrate on (auto)biographical narratives published or shared on social networks and examine their dimensions of digital media art, as well as their interventionist socio-cultural nature.
