Abstract(s)
Com o objetivo de analisar sete comunidades online, procurando evidenciar os traços que tipificam eventuais comunidades de prática, foi realizado um estudo de casos múltiplos, de natureza predominantemente qualitativa.
Privilegiou‐se a observação continuada da realidade vivida nessas comunidades, a realização de entrevistas online semiestruturadas aos moderadores, a análise de redes sociais, procurando analisar as dinâmicas
inter‐relacionais, tendo‐se complementado o estudo com o recurso à aplicação de questionários online
aos respetivos participantes.
Este artigo, para além de procurar dar conta da metodologia usada, apresenta uma matriz de análise dos dados que permite identificar, em face de uma estrutura localizada na rede, a existência de uma comunidade
virtual de prática e a abrangência dos traços que a tipificam.
Abstract: With the objective of analysing seven online communities, seeking to highlight the traits that typify any communities of practice, it conducted a study of multiple cases. The focus was the continued observation of the reality in communities, conducting semi structured online interviews, the social network analysis, trying to analyse the inter-relational dynamics; the study was supplemented with the use of online questionnaires. This paper, in addition to address the methodology used, presents a matrix of data analysis which allows to identify the existence of a virtual community of practice and the scope of the traits that typify these communities.
