| dc.description.abstract | No nosso texto, refletimos sobre o conceito de litera-tura migrante, mais particularmente a literatura produzida por descendentes de emigrantes em França e publicada em língua francesa. Para tal, abordamos primeiro esta noção na literatura e procuramos compreender o conceito de literatura migrante que está ligado a narrativas (auto)biográficas. Desta forma, analisamos dois autores que destacam o Outro e a alteridade nas suas obras. Analisamos os romances de Bernadette Ferreira e de Carlos Batista, dois autores lusodescendentes que evocam as suas origens portuguesas e cujas obras têm como pano de fundo a emigração portuguesa em França. Na medida em que as literaturas migrantes constroem um “espaço problemático, um espaço onde todo o fictício da identidade e pertença podem desdobrar-se, ser questionados e distanciados” (Robin, 1997: 8, tradução nossa), analisamos como a questão da identidade, da língua e da pertença estão problematizadas nas obras destes dois autores, que foram ambas publicadas em 2005. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | In this text, we reflect on the concept of migrant literature, more particularly the literature produced by descendants of emigrants in France and published in French. To this aim, we first address this notion in literature and we try to understand the concept of migrant literature that is linked to (auto)biographical narratives. Thus, we analyse two authors who highlight the Other and otherness in their works. We analyse the novels written by Bernadette Ferreira and by Carlos Batista, two Portuguese-descendant authors who evoke their Portuguese origins and whose works have as a backdrop the Portuguese emigration in France. To the extent that migrant literatures builds a “problematic space, a space where all the fictitious identity and belonging can unfold, be questioned and distanced” (Robin,1997: 8, our translation), we analyse how the issues of identity, language and belonging are problematized in the works of these two authors both published in 2005. | pt_PT |
