O presente trabalho integra-se no Projeto "Observatório Virtual sobre Supervisão Pedagógica
e Autoavaliação de Escolas" e vai centrar-se numa Escola Secundária (ES) situada na zona de
Lisboa e Vale do Tejo e num Agrupamento de Escolas (AG) situado na zona Centro do país.
Com este trabalho pretende identificar-se os modelos de supervisão nas escolas em análise.
O estudo seguiu uma metodologia de natureza qualitativa, fazendo recurso da análise
documental como técnica de recolha de informação e da análise de conteúdo como técnica de
análise de dados. A análise incidiu sobre um corpus de documentos estruturantes do
Agrupamento de Escolas e da Escola Secundária em estudo. Nomeadamente, Projeto Educativo,
Regulamento Interno, Relatório de Autoavaliação, Contrato de Autonomia e Plano de Ação
Estratégico.
Os resultados evidenciam uma fraca presença da formação contínua em supervisão, sendo
possível identificar algumas referências a perspetivas e práticas supervisivas nos documentos
analisados de ambas as escolas em estudo. Evidenciam ainda a importância da supervisão no
desenvolvimento da organização escolar que, ao ser conjugada com dispositivos de reflexão
interna e de autoavaliação, não só incentiva ao aperfeiçoamento dos planos de melhoria, como
encaminha as Escolas para a melhoria contínua da qualidade do seu serviço educativo
This work is part of the "Virtual Observatory on Pedagogical Supervision and School SelfAssessment" project and will focus on a secondary school (ES) located in an area of Lisbon and the Tagus Valley and a Grouping of Schools (AG) located in the central area of the country. With this work we intend to identify the models and practices of supervision in the schools under analysis. The study followed a qualitative methodology, making use of documental analysis as a technique for collecting information and content analysis as a data analysis technique. The analysis focused on a corpus of structural documents of the School Grouping and the Secondary School under study. Namely, Educational Project, Internal Rules, Self-assessment Report, Autonomy Contract and Strategic Action Plan. The results show a weak presence of continuing training in supervision, and it is possible to identify perspectives and supervisory practices in the documents analyzed from both schools under analysis. They also highlight the importance of supervision in the development of the school organization, which, when used in conjunction with devices for internal reflection and self-assessment, not only encourages the improvement of improvement plans, but also guides schools towards the continuous improvement of the quality of their educational service.
