Abstract(s)
Este estudo foi realizado com o objectivo de conhecer āQuais os factores que contribuem para o bom ou mau acolhimento do idoso no internamento de ortopedia na opiniĆ£o dos idosos internados." Foi realizado num internamento de ortopedia de um centro hospitalar da regiĆ£o de Lisboa. Ć um estudo qualitativo, do tipo exploratĆ³rio, descritivo de nĆvel I.
No contexto teĆ³rico-conceptual com o objectivo de suportar o estudo empĆrico Ć© abordado o Envelhecimento; a Sociedade e a FamĆlia; o Hospital OrtopĆ©dico; a Ortopedia e o Idoso; a Ansiedade e a Dor; a ComunicaĆ§Ć£o e a InformaĆ§Ć£o em Cuidados de SaĆŗde; a RelaĆ§Ć£o de Ajuda; a HumanizaĆ§Ć£o nos Cuidados e ServiƧos de SaĆŗde.
Na colheita de dados foi utilizada a entrevista semi-estruturada, a qual foi aplicada a 30 utentes. Recorreu-se Ć anĆ”lise de conteĆŗdo para o tratamento das questƵes abertas e anĆ”lise qualitativa e recorreu-se Ć estatĆstica descritiva para o tratamento das perguntas fechadas.
Dos resultados do estudo ressalta da opiniĆ£o dos idosos entrevistados, a necessidade de melhorar o acolhimento pela valorizaĆ§Ć£o de um certo nĆŗmero de constrangimentos.
Ao nĆvel Organizacional os espaƧos fĆsicos sĆ£o pela descriĆ§Ć£o destes utentes extremamente reduzidos na urgĆŖncia, e reduzidos na enfermaria de ortopedia; a qualidade de materiais deveria ser revista e adequada Ć s reais necessidades do utente (nas camas, nas macas, nos acessos ao bar e espaƧo verde, etc); os horĆ”rios de visitas encontram-se profundamente desenquadrados das necessidades dos utentes e das famĆlias, apresentando-se incĆ³modos e limitativos na duraĆ§Ć£o; hĆ” um nĆŗmero reduzido de profissionais em determinados turnos; os procedimentos que conduzem a um combate e avaliaĆ§Ć£o da Dor eficaz nĆ£o se apresentam os mais adequados.
Ao nĆvel dos Aspectos Relacionais verifica-se um esforƧo dos profissionais no sentido de ultrapassar os profundos constrangimentos fĆsicos e organizacionais; os utentes demonstram interesse e vontade em participar no projecto terapĆŖutico, evidenciando conhecimentos de uma realidade que nĆ£o Ć© praticada nesta instituiĆ§Ć£o em grande parte por condicionalismos organizacionais; Ć© notĆ³ria a falta de formaĆ§Ć£o dos profissionais na relaĆ§Ć£o utente/profissional de saĆŗde; Ć© necessĆ”rio investir na formaĆ§Ć£o dos profissionais relativamente Ć informaĆ§Ć£o/comunicaĆ§Ć£o em saĆŗde
This study was conducted in order to know "Which are the factors contributing to the good or bad reception of the elderly in an internment of the orthopaedics in the opinion from hospitalized elderly." It was conducted in an internment of the orthopaedics of a hospital centre in the Lisbon region. It is a qualitative study, the type exploratory, descriptive level I. In the theoretical and conceptual framework with the aim of supporting the empirical study is approached the Aging; the Society and the Family; the Hospital Orthopaedic; the Orthopaedics and the Elderly; the Anxiety and the Pain; the Communication and the Information in Health Care; the Relationship of Help; the Humanization in Care and Health Services. In the data collected it was used the semi-structured interview, which was applied with 30 users. It was used the analysis of content for the treatment of the open questions and qualitative analysis and appealed to the descriptive statistics for the treatment of closed questions. Of the results of the study highlights the view of the elderly respondents, the need to improve the reception for the recovery of a number of constraints. At the Organizational level the physical spaces by the description of these users are extremely low in urgency, and reduced in the ward of the orthopaedics, the quality of the materials should be reviewed and appropriate to the real needs of the user (in the beds, in nosily, in access to the bar and green space, etc.), the visits time are deeply unsuited to the needs of users, presenting nuisance and limiting the duration, there is a limited number of professionals in certain shifts; the procedures leading to a fight and evaluation Health Care effective are not the most appropriate. At the level of Relational aspects there is an effort of the professionals in order to overcome the deep physical and organizational constraints; the users shows interest and willingness to participate in the project therapeutic, demonstrating knowledge of a reality that is not practised by this institution largely of organizational constraints, it is apparent the lack of training of professionals in relation client / occupational health, it is necessary to invest in the training of professionals on information / communication in health
