Abstract(s)
A presente investigação centra-se nas atividades de garimpo artesanal, efetuadas por crianças na região de Manica,em Moçambique e, visa chamar a atenção para as respetivas implicações educativas. No referente à metodologia analisa-sea realidade a partir de um contexto fenomenológico de raiz husserliana. A resolução de um problema complexo, comoos dados empíricos revelam, através de atitudes abolicionistas do trabalho infantil, mesmo que legalmente suportadas,não será a mais adequada por provocar a jusante outro tipo de problemas. Por isso, é necessário encontrar soluções de compromisso, nomeadamente no âmbito educativo, suportadas no conhecimento e no respeito da realidade local.
The present research focuses on artisanal mining activities carried out by children in the Manica region of Mozambique, and aims to understand its implications in the field of Education. The reality is analyzed from the norms of child labor and the social context. The solution of some problems by laws would seem the easiest way, but complexity of situation revealed by the empirical data collected, advise the finding of other kind of solutions of commitment, supported in the knowledge of the traditional reality.
