Principles and methads of Geoarchaeology and its pratice in Portugal as a geological methodology appicable to archaeological places and materias it provides information on paleoenvironmental evolution facilitating the integration of results in a vaster regional economical context. Emphasizing the importance of Geoarchoeology as a multidisciplinary domain per se the author suports the idea that an open discucion of results would provide insights into a social and cultural dimension of the research.
