Participação em fóruns e a avaliação final de uma unidade curricular lecionada em elearning: que relação?

dc.description.abstractThis paper is the result of a study which sought to understand the relationship between the participation in the discussion forums of the formative activities of a curricular unit, part of a higher education course taught under elearning, and the dimension of the success obtained by the students in this unit with compulsory continuous assessment. Through use of Microsoft Excel for the gathering and presentation of the data in this descriptive exploratory research, we analyzed the evaluations obtained in the formative learning activities by the students, comparing them with the results of the efolios and final marks, trying thus to establish relationships between these results. The main conclusion to retain is that there is a direct connection between the quantity / quality of students’ participation and the final mark obtained by each one of them.pt_PT
dc.description.abstractEste artigo provém de um estudo em que se procurou perceber qual a relação entre a participação nos fóruns de discussão das atividades formativas de uma unidade curricular de um curso superior lecionado em regime de elearning, na qual a avaliação contínua é obrigatória, e a dimensão do sucesso alcançado pelos estudantes. Recorrendo ao Microsoft Excel para a recolha e apresentação dos dados, nesse estudo de carácter descritivo e exploratório, analisaram-se as avaliações obtidas nas atividades formativas, comparando-as com as avaliações dos e-fólios e as avaliações finais, tentando, desta forma, estabelecer relações entre resultados. A principal conclusão a reter é a de que existe uma ligação direta entre a quantidade/qualidade da participação dos alunos e a classificação final obtida por cada um.pt_PT
