Abstract(s)
O desenvolvimento tecnológico tem possibilitado o aparecimento de novos ‘media’ digitais que alteraram profundamente as formas de aprender e de ensinar. A sua integração, no ensino, constitui um desafio para os professores, enquanto agentes do desenvolvimento curricular. Este estudo apresenta uma meta-análise de alguns trabalhos realizados na área de interseção entre a aprendizagem de línguas e a utilização dos novos ‘media’. Os ambientes tecnologicamente ricos e promotores da construção do saber linguístico permitem o
desenvolvimento da competência comunicativa dos estudantes, nas suas múltiplas dimensões. Os cenários emergentes, potenciados pela sociedade em rede, têm permitido novas maneiras de ensinar e de aprender, com impactos significativos na educação em línguas.
Technological development has enabled the emergence of the new digital media, which have profoundly changed teaching and learning methods. The integration of these media in the classroom is a challenge for teachers as agents of curricular development. This study presents a meta-analysis of some of the work that has been developed within the field of language learning and the use of these new digital media. Language learning, grounded in a technologically rich and stimulating environment for linguistic knowledge, allows the development of students’ communicative competence, in its multiple dimensions. The emerging scenarios, enhanced by the network society, have allowed new ways of both teaching and learning, with an outstanding significant impact on language education.
