A obra que se apresenta é constituída por oito narrativas biográficas de professores em fim de carreira e integra-se, duplamente, nos trabalhos da UC de Supervisão Pedagógica, do Mestrado em Supervisão Pedagógica da Universidade Aberta e da demanda investigativa do projeto “Cinquenta Anos de Docência: Fatores de Mudança e Diálogos Intergeracionais (FYT-ID)” – Financiado pela Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, IP (FCT) Referência PTDC/CED-EDG/1039/2021 (2022-2024). Com o tornar-se professor pretende-se promover a discussão sobre a condição do que é ser professor hoje, lida a partir dos modos díspares como estas oito pessoas se tornaram professores.
This e-book is composed of eight biographical narratives of teachers by the end of their careers and is integrated within the work of the UC Pedagogical Supervision, from the Master’s Degree in Pedagogical Supervision at the Open University. This work is also integrated in the research demand of the project “Fifty Years of Teaching”. : Factors of Change and Intergenerational Dialogues (FYTID)” – Funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology, IP (FCT) Reference PTDC/CED-EDG/1039/2021 (2022-2024). With Becoming a teacher, we intend to promote discussion about the condition of what it means to be a teacher today, viewed from the different ways in which these eight people became teachers.
