Abstract(s)
Este artigo analisa, a partir de um exemplo etnográfico em Timor Português, envolvendo um antropólogo e um grupo de timorenses, o (des)encontro entre as memórias escritas, do antropólogo, e as orais, recolhidas juntos dos conterrâneos dos interlocutores originais. A dissonância entre estas memórias expressa diferentes perspetivas do mesmo evento e as intencionalidades e valorização dadas ao que é expresso e o que é omisso pelos intervenientes.
