- How university students use digital resources in written production in Spanish Foreign Language Courses: a case study at a portuguese universityPublication . Navas de Pereira, Grauben Helena; Morgado, Lina; Chenoll, AntonioDue to the COVID-19 crisis, there was a generalized suspension of face-to-face instruction in Portugal during 2020. In order to ensure continuity of education among the different educational levels, an emergency transition to remote teaching practices took place (Hodges et al., 2020; Ferri et al., 2020). Teachers and students increased their use of digital technologies, rapidly adapting their teaching and learning process to this new online learning situation. However, it is also very relevant to report on the experiences lived hands-on during this period, particularly in the higher education context. At this level, we have witnessed and experienced firsthand how writing has become the basis of most communicative acts in which we participate today. In this context, a preliminary case study was conducted to explore which digital linguistic resources do students use when writing in Spanish as a foreign language at a Portuguese university.

Leitão, Vasco; Cardoso, João Luís; Martins, FilipeThe results of the excavations carried out between 2004 and 2006 at the Encosta de Sant´ Ana located in the Historic Center of Lisbon are presented. The formation of the respective stratigraphic sequence was characterized and all the collected remains were thoroughly studied, analyzing the respective distribution among the excavated areas and their potential relationship with the identified archaeological structures. The absolute chronology was determined by two radiocarbon AMS analysis, which situate this occupation in the Early evolved Neolithic in the transition from the 6th to the 5th millennium BC, allowed the establishment of comparisons with several sites of similar chronology, located in the region surrounding the Tagus estuary. For the archaeological structures identified; for the safe stratigraphy that made it possible to consider the recovered remains as constituting complete and closed sets, of great importance both in diversity and in the number of artefacts; and also due to the absolute chronology strictly determined by two AMS dating of bone samples from the terrestrial biosphere, the Encosta de Sant’ Ana site assumes itself as one of the most relevant sites of the Early Neolithic published so far in Portuguese territory.
- Projetos educativos de escolas complexas: como construir?Publication .

- Regular sports services: dataset of demographic, frequency and service level agreementPublication . Pinheiro, Paulo; Cavique, LuísThis article describes a dataset of different services acquired by users during the period in which they are active in a sports facility as well as their behavior in terms of frequency of the sport facility itself and the type of classes they prefer to attend. Each observation in the dataset corresponds to one user, including the features of subscriptions and frequency. Data were collected between June 1st 2014 and October 31st 2019 from a database of an ERP solution operating in a sports facility in Lisbon, Portugal. From this database, it was possi- ble to perform operations of extraction, transformation and loading into the dataset. The dataset with real data can be useful for research in ar- eas such as customer retention, machine learning, marketing, actionable knowledge and others. Although we present real data from users of a sports facil- ity, in order to comply the GDPR legislation, the attributes that could identify the users were removed making the data anonymized.
- CRM 2.0 and Mobile CRM: a framework proposal and study in European Recruitment AgenciePublication . Gregório, Tânia Isabel; Isaías, PedroCompanies are becoming more focused on customers and on new ways to approach them individually. Mobile technologies and Web 2.0 have been pushing companies to evolve in this area. This research is focused on the way Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems are used, on a European level, by recruiting companies to assist candidates in finding a satisfactory job. A framework is presented to identify how CRM 2.0 and mCRM (mobile CRM) can help candidates to find jobs in a personalized way. A set of four hypotheses have been defined. To gain a better understanding of these CRM systems, the methodology used in the exploratory study was quantitative, employing a non-probabilistic sampling technique, with 35 recruiting agencies being studied. Results showed that the use of software in recruiting agencies is quite common and that CRM 2.0 is present in the vast majority of the studied companies. When it comes to mobile CRM, there's still much to be explored in this channel, as agencies focus their resources on Web 2.0, leaving this channel's great potential of mobile CRM unused.
- “O Amor Jamais Passará”: O Descensus Christi e a Vida Além-TúmuloPublication .
- Key factors to educational continuity and success of ciganos in PortugalPublication . Magano, Olga; Mendes, Maria ManuelaThe goal of this article is to analyse the impact of specific public policies on the school trajectories of socially vulnerable Ciganos (Gypsies/Roma) who reside/live in the Metropolitan Areas of Lisbon and Porto. Through carrying out qualitative research, the analysis of key factors will allow us to understand the reasons behind school continuity and educational success of Ciganos, as well as the identity (re)configuration processes associated with the education paths of these individuals. We find that trajectories are not only intertwined with public policies and programmes, but also with other explanatory factors inherent to the individual,to the type of support he/she receives from his/her family, the presence of key figures in their lives, and the importance of peers and institutional factors inherent to the way public schools operate.
