Abstract(s)
A relevância da comunicação no ensino em regime de eLearning é um tema cada vez mais presente no mundo atual, com o uso avassalador da internet; usada através de diversos meios e plataformas que estão a causar mudanças profundas nas práticas comunicacionais, no ensino e na formação, ou seja, na aprendizagem do ser humano.
Habituados a um registo presencial no ensino, os docentes defrontam-se hoje com a necessidade de alterar o seu comportamento tradicional para um campo de ação comunicacional totalmente diferente, assente na internet, nas plataformas de comunicação globais e aplicações diversas, nomeadamente as redes sociais.
Neste quadro, apresentamos como principal objetivo do estudo a forma como se realiza a comunicação no eLearning. Assim sendo, pretendemos compreender até que ponto o uso da plataforma Google Classroom em simultâneo com as aulas presenciais ajuda na comunicação educacional, promovendo uma melhor interação entre todos.
Considerando o tema escolhido e o objetivo da investigação, fomos em busca de elementos necessários no sentido de obter respostas; recorrendo ao inquérito online aplicado a professores e alunos de duas turmas do Agrupamento de Escolas de Arouca.
Tendo como base os resultados alcançados, podemos observar que o uso do Google Classroom em simultâneo com as aulas presenciais favorece o ensino e aprendizagem no contexto educacional, estimulando de forma positiva a obtenção do conhecimento; o que vai na mesma linha de pensamento de diferentes autores que se debruçaram sobre esta temática aqui em estudo. Constatamos que a grande maioria dos professores e alunos corroboram da mesma opinião, mencionando que a plataforma é uma ajuda na dinâmica do ensino, onde o material digital facilita na compreensão dos assuntos, melhora a comunicação entre todos e
permite a troca de experiências e informações. É um incentivo ao trabalho cooperativo e colaborativo, sendo uma ajuda para tirar dúvidas sobre as matérias dadas nas aulas, o que permite maior proximidade entre alunos/professores; facilitando a tomada de decisões entre todos, o que melhora o ambiente na sala de aula.
Foi evidente com esta pesquisa que o papel do professor, tendo em conta uma nova realidade, deverá ser adaptado aos novos modelos pedagógicos. Como tal, é importante manterem-se atualizados, com o intuito de motivarem os seus alunos neste novo cenário de aprendizagem.
The relevance of communication in eLearning teaching is a topic that is increasingly present in today's world, with the overwhelming use of the internet; used through various means and platforms that are causing profound changes in communication practices, in teaching and training, in other words, in human learning. Accustomed to face-to-face teaching, teachers are now faced with the need to change their traditional behavior to a totally different field of communication, based on the internet, global communication platforms and various applications, particularly social networks. In this context, the main objective of this study is to look at how communication takes place in eLearning. Therefore, we intend to understand to what extent the use of the Google Classroom platform at the same time as face-to-face classes helps educational communication, promoting better interaction between everyone. Considering the topic chosen and the aim of the research, we went in search of the necessary elements in order to obtain answers; using the online survey applied to teachers and students from two classes at the Arouca School Grouping. Based on the results achieved, we can see that the use of Google Classroom at the same time as face-to-face classes favors teaching and learning in the educational context, positively stimulating the attainment of knowledge; which is in line with the thinking of different authors who have looked at the subject under study here. We found that the vast majority of teachers and students share the same opinion, mentioning that the platform is a help in the dynamics of teaching, where the digital material facilitates the understanding of subjects, improves communication between everyone and allows the exchange of experiences and information. It encourages cooperative and collaborative work, helping to answer questions about the subjects taught in class, which allows for greater proximity between students and teachers; facilitating decision-making between everyone, which improves the classroom environment. It was clear from this research that the role of the teacher, given the new reality, must be adapted to the new pedagogical models. As such, it is important to keep up to date in order to motivate their students in this new learning scenario.
