Abstract(s)
O trabalho de investigação apresentado pretende alertar para a importância da educação artística no crescimento do ser humano, neste caso em particular, no desenvolvimento da autorrepresentação e autoconhecimento de pessoas privadas da sua liberdade.
É apresentado um estudo de caso, construído com métodos qualitativos inerentes à investigação-ação, no Estabelecimento Prisional de Guimarães, com a utilização de práticas próprias das artes visuais, de forma a potenciar a autoanálise e o autoconceito para uma reflexão e potenciamento humano.
Uma investigação de construção conjunta, iniciada em 2012, colaborativa e participada por todos os seus agentes (investigadora e reclusos/estudantes), que ainda se encontra em ação. E que coloca questões vinculadas à Educação Artística Formal de Adultos (privados de liberdade), identidade e contemporaneidade, com exemplos de experiências concretizadas em contexto real.
The research work presented intends to show the importance of artistic education on the development of the human being, and specifically on the development of self-concept and self-esteem of those lacking their liberty. The case-study presented here is comprised of methodology-of-qualitative inherent to research-action on Guimarães prison facility with the application of visual arts in a way that strengthen soul-searching and self-concept for a greater in development of critical thinking on human capital. These joint construction research started in 2012 its inclusive and cooperative of all the players involved (researcher/inmates/student’s) still active. And presents issues that regard curricular Artistic Education (lacking their liberty) identity, contemporaneous, with real context examples.
