Abstract(s)
As redes sociais exerceram papel relevante nas eleições presidenciais do Brasil em
2018, principalmente pela redução orçamentária de verbas que anteriormente sustentavam
as campanhas eleitorais com uso de mídias pagas. Considerando este panorama, os
candidatos fizeram largo uso das mídias gratuitas ou de baixo custo e o Facebook configurou
como a rede social de maior uso e amplitude, devido sua popularidade no país.
Neste sentido, consideramos pertinente a análise crítica deste momento histórico para
as eleições do Brasil, onde o Facebook representou um espaço apropriado para as contendas
e discussões, superando os debates presenciais e as manifestações discursivas públicas
outrora utilizadas por candidatos às eleições
A escolha da rede social Facebook se justifica devido sua abrangência e popularidade
no Brasil; vale ressaltar a relevância desta rede mundial como disseminadora de notícias,
formadora de comunidades e influenciadora de opiniões, tornando-a um espaço
movimentado e rico para coleta de mensagens e uso do discurso.
A presente dissertação tem, como objetivo, analisar os atos de fala presentes em
mensagens postadas na internet, na rede social Facebook brasileira, no período da campanha
eleitoral para as eleições presidenciais de 2018. Para isso, a metodologia aplicada ocorreu
em duas etapas:
a) coletamos mensagens postadas no Facebook, relacionadas aos dois principais
candidatos que ocuparam posição de liderança em pesquisas e que se tornaram os favoritos
na campanha eleitoral, pesquisando no buscador do Facebook perfis relacionados aos
candidatos Jair Bolsonaro, Fernando Haddad, ou que trouxessem menções às eleições
presidenciais brasileiras de 2018 e as quantificamos por tipo.
b) analisamos as mensagens do ponto de vista discursivo e as estratégias aplicadas,
identificando os atos de fala que apresentavam descortesia e marcas de agressividade,
arrogância, prepotência, violência verbal, superioridade, manipulação e desqualificação do
adversário em sua formação.
Pretendemos, com o trabalho, apresentar, através da análise do discurso, um retrato
da situação social e política, onde os atos de fala exerceram um grande papel nas mídias
sociais, influenciando a definição do futuro político do país e no cotidiano e comportamento
das pessoas.
Social networks played a relevant role in Brazil's presidential elections in 2018, mainly due to the budget reduction of funds that previously supported election campaigns using paid media. Considering this panorama, candidates made wide use of free or low-cost media, and Facebook was the most widely used social network due to its popularity in the country. In this sense, we consider pertinent the critical analysis of this historical moment for the elections of Brazil, where Facebook represented an appropriate space for disputes and discussions, overcoming face-to-face debates and discursive manifestations public companies used by candidates for elections The choice of the social network Facebook is justified due to its scope and popularity in Brazil; it is worth emphasizing the relevance of this worldwide network as a news disser, community trainer and opinion-influencer, making it a busy and rich space for message collection and speech use. The present dissertation aims to analyze the acts of speech present in messages posted on the Internet, on the social network Brazilian Facebook, during the election campaign for the presidential elections of 2018. For this, the applied methodology occurred in two stages: a) we collected messages posted on Facebook, related to the two main candidates who held a leadership position in polls and who became favorites in the electoral campaign, searching the Facebook search engine for profiles related to candidates Jair Bolsonaro, Fernando Haddad, or that mentioned the 2018 Brazilian presidential elections and we quantify them by type. b) we analyzed the messages from the discursive point of view and the strategies applied, identifying the acts of speech that presented discourtesy and marks of aggressiveness, arrogance, prepotency, verbal violence, superiority, manipulation and disqualification of the opponent in their formation. Therefore, we consider pertinent the critical analysis of this historical moment for the elections in Brazil; in it, Facebook represented an appropriate space for disputes and discussions, overcoming face-to-face debates and public discursive demonstrations hitherto used by election candidates. The aim is, with the work, to present, through the analysis of discourse, a portrait of the social and political situation, where speech acts played a great role in social media, influencing the definition of the political future of the country and in the daily life and behavior of people.
