| dc.description.abstract | As migrações representam a necessidade de mobilidade, que caracteriza o ser humano, e ocorrem independentemente do tempo e do espaço. O sentido e a característica que as migrações assumem têm sido determinadas por fatores de ordem histórica e pelas circunstâncias em que os fluxos migratórios se desenvolvem, sendo que, contextos políticos, económicos e sociais são preponderantes para o sentido de abordagem que vem sendo feita sobre este fenómeno, podendo variar para um quadro político suscetível de gerar fluxos consideráveis (na origem), ou ainda, passível de promover e atrair imigração (no destino), por necessidade de força de trabalho ou por outra razão. A atenção prestada aos fatores de atração e de repulsão dos fluxos migratórios, a necessidade de considerar as envolventes do estabelecimento de imigrantes nas sociedades anfitriãs, o estudo das diversas nuances atinentes à integração de imigrantes na sociedade de acolhimento, a sua relação com a identidade, com as instituições e as populações locais, assim como o resultado do estabelecimento no território de destino, o impacto dos contactos quotidianos e das trocas culturais nos modus vivendi dos imigrantes, para além dos reflexos deste cruzamento na sociedade acolhedora, constituem vertentes de análise para uma compreensão mais abrangente do fenómeno migratório em geral, bem como constituem o leitmotiv da abordagem específica focalizada na realidade angolana. A maioria dos imigrantes em Angola é oriunda de países da África Subsaariana, sobretudo imigrantes da região ocidental de África, da qual faz parte a comunidade de cidadãos da Costa do Marfim, que tem Luanda como lugar de residência. O objetivo desta investigação é conhecer como vivem os imigrantes costa-marfinenses e a sua integração na sociedade angolana. Para o efeito, recorreu-se a uma metodologia mista, com a aplicação de entrevistas a interlocutores privilegiados e inquéritos a imigrantes costa-marfinenses. Os resultados permitem perceber as várias dimensões do processo de integração e os constrangimentos da vida quotidiana destes imigrantes. A principal conclusão é a de que apesar de respeitar os direitos individuais e coletivos dos imigrantes, assim como não interferir nas práticas culturais e identitárias dos mesmos, o Estado angolano não financia nenhum tipo de ação em prol da comunidade costa-marfinense em Luanda, e não existe a garantia da participação dos mesmos de forma ativa e inclusiva na sociedade de acolhimento. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | Migrations represent the need for mobility, which characterizes human beings and occurs independently of time and space. The meaning and characteristic that migrations take on have been determined by historical factors and by the circumstances in which migratory flows develop, with political, economic and social contexts being preponderant for the sense of approach that has been taken. On this phenomenon, which may vary for a political framework capable of generating considerable flows (at origin), or even capable of promoting and attracting immigration (at destination), due to the need for a workforce or for another reason. The attention paid to the factors of attraction and repulsion of migratory flows, the need to consider the surroundings of the establishment of immigrants in host societies, the study of the various nuances relating to the integration of immigrants in the host society, their relationship with identity with local institutions and populations, as well as the result of establishment in the destination territory, the impact of daily contacts and cultural exchanges on the immigrants' modus vivendi, in addition to the reflections of this crossing on the host society, constitute aspects of analysis for a more comprehensive understanding of the migratory phenomenon in general, as well as constituting the leitmotiv of the specific approach focused on the Angolan reality. The majority of immigrants in Angola come from countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, especially immigrants from the western region of Africa, which includes the community of citizens of Côte d'Ivoire, who have Luanda as their place of residence. The objective of this research is to understand how Ivorian immigrants settled in Luanda live and their integration into Angolan society. For this purpose, a mixed methodology was used, with the application of interviews with privileged interlocutors and surveys of Costa Ivorine immigrants. The results allow us to understand the various dimensions of the integration process and the constraints of these immigrants' daily lives. The main conclusion is that despite respecting the individual and collective rights of immigrants, as well as not interfering in their cultural and identity practices, the Angolan State does not finance any type of action in favor of the Ivorian community in Luanda, and there is no guarantee of their active and inclusive participation in the host society. | eng |
