Educação para a cidadania: reflexões sobre uma prática pedagógica

O artigo tem o objetivo analisar e refletir sobre uma prática pedagógica desenvolvida em 2024 com estudantes do 4º ano do Ensino Fundamental de uma escola pública do noroeste do Rio Grande do Sul, vinculada ao Programa A União Faz a Vida (PUFV). A experiência fundamenta-se na “Educação para a cidadania” e articula-se à Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC), especialmente na temática “O sujeito e seu lugar no mundo”. A partir da escolha do tema e dos conteúdos, realizou-se uma expedição investigativa, na qual os estudantes exploraram os limites geográficos do município em que vivem. Dessa exploração emergiram perguntas orientadoras que conduziram o projeto, estimulando a compreensão da história local e do papel de cada indivíduo na vida coletiva. O uso de ferramentas digitais, como a plataforma Google Workspace for Education e o Documentos Google, viabilizou a produção e o compartilhamento de escritos. Esses textos originaram gravações em áudio no aplicativo Podcasters, do Spotify, ampliando os sentidos das aprendizagens. Apesar dos desafios de acesso e manejo das tecnologias, elas favoreceram a integração de diferentes linguagens, o desenvolvimento da criatividade e a produção de novos conhecimentos, fortalecendo uma educação voltada à cidadania e ao reconhecimento do espaço vivido pelos estudantes.
This article aims to analyze and reflect on a pedagogical practice developed in 2024 with 4thgrade students from a public school in northwestern Rio Grande do Sul, linked to the "A União Faz a Vida" (PUFV) Program. The experience is based on "Education for Citizenship" and is articulated with the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), especially in the theme "The subject and their place in the world." Based on the chosen theme and content, an investigative expedition was carried out, in which students explored the geographical boundaries of the municipality where they live. From this exploration emerged guiding questions that led the project, stimulating an understanding of local history and the role of each individual in collective life. The use of digital tools, such as the Google Workspace for Education platform and Google Docs, enabled the production and sharing of written work. These texts originated audio recordings on Spotify's Podcasters application, expanding the meaning of learning. Despite the challenges of accessing and managing technologies, they have fostered the integration of different languages, the development of creativity, and the production of new knowledge, strengthening an education focused on citizenship and the recognition of the space lived by students.
