A presente edição visa congregar num só volume todo o trabalho inerente ao projeto de investigação Tutankhamon em Portugal. Relatos na imprensa portuguesa (1922-1939) e respetiva Exposição, constituindo um repositório em versão desenvolvida e multimédia sobre a recolha, selecção, análise e exibição das notícias publicadas em Portugal continental sobre a descoberta do túmulo do faraó Tutankhamon, bem como sobre as produções literárias, académicas e artísticas por ela influenciadas ou motivadas. Com ela pretendemos, simultaneamente, assinalar e comemorar em Portugal, de forma singela, os 100 anos da descoberta do túmulo de Tutankhamon.
This edition aims to bring together in a single volume all the work inherent to the research project Tutankhamon em Portugal. Relatos na imprensa portuguesa (1922-1939) and respective Exhibition, constituting a repository in a developed and multimedia version on the gathering, selection, analysis and exhibition of news published in mainland Portugal on the discovery of the tomb of pharaoh Tutankhamun, as well as on literary, academic and artistic productions influenced or motivated by it. With it we intend, simultaneously, to mark and commemorate in Portugal, in a simple way, the 100 years of the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun .
