| dc.description.abstract | A sociedade em que vivemos, cada vez mais globalizada, caracterizada por fenómenos migratórios frequentes, está marcada pela interação de diversas culturas, línguas, religiões. Estas interações estão visíveis no contexto escolar, um espaço, frequentemente, onusto de diversas culturas. E a escola continua a ter de responder a esta diversidade, por isso surge a necessidade de educadores e professores terem uma intervenção adequada. A problemática da educação intercultural surge, assim, como uma temática sempre atual. Neste texto aborda-se esta questão, a partir de um enquadramento que reflete sobre os desafios colocados atualmente a uma educação intercultural e pelo papel que a literatura infantil pode assumir no contexto da educação pré-escolar. Em seguida analisam-se as relações entre as perspetivas e as práticas de um grupo de educadoras de infância, a partir dos relatos realizados pelas mesmas. Verifica-se que, embora reconheçam a importância de uma abordagem intercultural no jardim-de-infância, as suas práticas situam-se em níveis ainda incipientes. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The society we live in, increasingly globalized, is characterized by frequent migratory phenomena. This society is also characterized by the interaction of different cultures, languages, religions. These interactions are visible in the school context, a space often filled with diverse cultures. And the school still has to respond to this diversity, so there is the need for educators to have an appropriate intervention. The issue of intercultural education emerges, as well as an ever-present theme. In this paper this issue is approached from a framework that reflects on the challenges currently posed to intercultural education and the role that children's literature can assume in the context of pre-school education. Then we analyse the relations between the perspectives and practices of a group of kindergarten teachers, from reports made by them. It is found that, while recognizing the importance of an intercultural approach in kindergarten, their practices are positioned at incipient levels. | pt_PT |
