Abstract(s)
Este artigo examina dois casos de ambientes multimédia desenvolvidos no
âmbito do projecto Ciência Viva, possuindo um carácter inovador como
dispositivos educacionais orientados para sensibilizar públicos diversificados.
O projecto designado por Carsoscópio é aqui analisado nas duas componentes
multimédia que se designam por Geódromo e Climatógrafo, porém não se esgota na
análise dos factores científicos e de desenvolvimento técnico inerentes aos dois
casos referidos, investiga também outros aspectos-chave para o sucesso deste
projecto, nomeadamente, o uso da imaginação como factor-chave de sucesso e a
forte relação estabelecida entre a tecnologia e a pedagogia necessariamente
associadas aos temas tratados (a Geologia, o Clima, a Biologia).
This article examines two cases of multimedia environments developed within the Portuguese Programme Ciência Viva, both showing innovative characteristics as educational devices oriented to diversified target audiences. The project designated by Carsoscópio is analyzed with emphasis on the two multimedia components that are designated by Geódromo and Climatógrafo, however it is not limited to the analysis of the scientific factors and inherent technical development of the two referred cases, it also investigates other aspects for the success of this project, namely, the use of imagination as a major success factor and the establishment of a strong relationship between the technology and the pedagogy necessarily associated with the themes (Geology, Climate, Biology).
