Resumo(s)
This study explores the role of e-learning in organizational training, focusing on onboarding processes and the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
E-learning, supported by Learning Management Systems (LMS), is widely used to enhance skill development and reduce costs. In the Physical Activity, Leisure, and Health sector, particularly in gyms, high staff turnover presents onboarding challenges.
AI may support these processes by personalizing schedules, providing support, and collecting feedback, although human intervention remains essential.
Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), a survey-based empirical phase, and an implementation-oriented perspective, this study analyzes e-learning models and AI implementation in onboarding.
The questionnaire was administered through LimeSurvey between March 9, 2026, and April 13, 2026, made available in English, French, and German, and the extracted data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel.
A total of 49 responses were initially recorded, of which 27 fully completed questionnaires were considered valid for statistical analysis.
The findings offer practical insights into AI’s potential applicability to onboarding and internal training processes and support the proposal of a hybrid AI-supported LMS onboarding model.
