| dc.description.abstract | O presente artigo é resultado do Projeto “Integração de refugiados em Portugal: papel e práticas das instituições de acolhimento. Projeto PT/2017/FAMI/151”.Este artigo analisa os diferentes domínios de integração e a forma como as instituições da sociedade civil conseguiram ou não preencher todas as condições exigidas para acolher os refugiados, nas suas diferentes dimensões. Iremos analisar as principais dificuldades sentidas no processo de integração incluindo a situação de dependência ou de autonomia que se conseguiu potenciar ao longo do programa de acolhimento. Em paralelo, vamos também perceber em que dimensões de integração os refugiados procuraram apoio por parte das instituições. Os dados reportam-se aos refugiados recolocados em 2015 e 2016 e a nos resultados do inquérito por questionário a 97 instituições que acolheram refugiados recolocados e entrevistas em profundidade efetuadas com 20 destas 97 instituições. Os resultados permitem identificar que foram o acesso ao emprego e a aprendizagem da língua portuguesa, as dimensões em que a maioria das instituições avaliaram as condições locais como tendo sido as piores no sentido de responderem às necessidades de integração dos refugiados. Várias propostas sublinham a necessidade de reforçar a oferta dos serviços de tradução e do ensino da língua portuguesa, na medida em que a comunicação é fundamental para o processo de integração e exige que decorra algum tempo, sobretudo quando as características culturais são muito diferentes. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This article is the result of the Project “Integration of refugees in Portugal: role and practices of host institutions. Project PT / 2017 / FAMI / 151 ”. This article analyzes the different areas of integration and the way in which civil society institutions have managed or failed to fulfill all the conditions required to welcome refugees, in their different dimensions. We will analyze the main difficulties experienced in the integration process, including the situation of dependence or autonomy that was managed to be enhanced during the reception program. In parallel, we will also see in what dimensions of integration the refugees sought support from the institutions. The data refer to refugees relocated in 2015 and 2016 and to the results of the questionnaire survey of 97 institutions that received displaced refugees and in-depth interviews with 20 of these 97 institutions. The results make it possible to identify that it was access to employment and learning the Portuguese language, the dimensions in which most institutions assessed local conditions as having been the worst in terms of responding to the integration needs of refugees. Several proposals underline the need to reinforce the provision of translation and education services in Portuguese language, insofar as communication is fundamental to the integration process and it demands that some time elapses, especially when the cultural characteristics are very different.requires. | pt_PT |
