The relationship between art and nature has gained increased prominence over the past few decades, as the concept of sustainability has become more significant. Ultimately, in this equation, art seeks ways to rekindle the connection between human and nature, writing a utopia of happiness that depends on the balance between the human microcosm and the planetary macrocosm. We wonder if technological developments in art provide artists with more resources to facilitate this reconnection. From Van Gogh's "Starry Night", a two-dimensional painting, to "Starry Night" in an immersive exhibition, New Media Arts takes the viewer's experience into a new dimension, virtual, augmented, three-dimensional, immersive. Are these resources more conducive to an aesthetic experience that helps reduce the fracture between human and nature? Throughout this article, after reflecting on the relationship between art, sustainability and new media, we will describe two installations developed with the aim of understanding the challenges facing media arts in the context of an artistic practice committed to environment preservation.eng
