| dc.description.abstract | As Comunidades de Prática foram desde sempre uma forma dos homens progredirem e melhorarem os seus conhecimentos num dado domínio e fazê-lo entre pares. Com o aparecimento da Internet e posteriormente das Redes Sociais, as Comunidades de Prática tiraram partido desses novos ambientes virtuais e desenvolveram-se ainda mais agregando a componente online a comunidades de prática presenciais. A rede social LinkedIn é uma rede com características particulares, que agrega milhares de profissionais em distintas áreas em todo o mundo. Pretende-se com esta investigação analisar uma comunidade de prática desenvolvida num Grupo duma rede social profissional, o LinkedIn e utilizar a metodologia da Análise de Redes Sociais (ARS) para descrever e caracterizar a forma como os seus membros interagem. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Communities of practice have always been a way for men to progress and improve their knowledge in a given field and make it among peers. With the advent of the Internet and later Social Networks, Communities of Practice have taken advantage of these new virtual environments and developed further by adding the online component to, face to face, communities of practice. The social network LinkedIn is a network with particular characteristics, which brings together thousands of professionals in different areas around the world. The research objectives are to analyze a community of practice developed in a group of a professional social network, LinkedIn and use the methodology of Social Network Analysis (ARS) to describe and characterize how its members interact. | |
