Abstract(s)
A presente Dissertação “Educação a distância: Potenciar a interação no curso de licenciatura em
Ensino de Biologia através da Web 2.0”, estuda a interação entre estudantes e tutores, nos
ambientes virtuais de aprendizagem no curso de Biologia do Centro de Ensino a Distância na
Universidade Católica de Moçambique. O trabalho pretende contribuir para a interação no
ensino e aprendizagem, com o uso de ferramentas web.2.0 que permitem a construção de
conteúdos de forma colaborativa. A metodologia usada é mista que pretende superar a lacuna
entre a teoria e prática sobre a potenciação da interação através de ferramentas web 2.0. Usou
se a entrevista aos estudantes para perceber o seu nível de sentimento e opinião na interação,
inquérito por questionário aos tutores e a análise documental, para aferir as actividades
pedagógicas desenhadas para o uso de ferramentas web 2.0. Os resultados nos permitiram
concluir que a maioria dos professores/tutores que fazem tutoria no curso de Biologia não teve
formação em docência online. Na Instituição há pouca promoção na capacitação dos professores
para o uso da web 2.0. Constatou -se, também, que a maioria dos professores não usa a web.2.0
na sua tutoria e há pouca interação por vídeo-conferência e nosfóruns de debate. As actividades
na web 2.0 são realizadas de forma pontual, quando os tutores consideram que a situação assim
exige e não de forma integrada.
In this Dissertation "Distance education: Enhancing the interaction of a degree course in Biology Teaching through Web 2.0", aims to focus on the interaction between students and tutors, in the virtual learning environments in Biology course of the Teaching Center Distance at Catholic University of Mozambique. The Distance intends to improve interaction in teaching and learning, with the need to incorporate web.2.0 tools that allow the construction of contents in a collaborative way. The methodology used is mixed that intends to overcome the gap between theory and practice on the potentiation of interaction through web 2.0 tools. It used the interview of the students to perceive their level of opinion in the interaction, tutors' inquiry and the documentary analysis, to gauge the pedagogical activities designed for the use of web 2.0 tools. The data allowed us to conclude that most of the teachers / tutors who give tutorials in the Biology course had few training in online teaching. In the Institution there is little promotion in enabling teachers to use web 2.0. It was found that most teachers do not use web.2.0 for their tutorials. There is little interaction by video conferencing in WebEx and discussion forums. Activities with web 2.0 are carried out in a timely manner, when tutors feel that the situation requires it and not in an integrated way.
