| dc.description.abstract | Tal como vem relatada na Autobiografia e sempre fiel à dinâmica interna aos Exercícios espirituais, a vida de Inácio de Loyola revela-se de enorme atualidade. A tese que aqui iremos expor consiste em mostrar como o mundo secular, em que hoje nos situamos, pode constituir o terreno adequado para o desabrochar de um tipo de conversão religiosa que o fundador dos Jesuítas experienciou no século xvi, para o qual apontou o Magistério do pontificado de Francisco. Esse tipo de conversão caracteriza-se por três traços essenciais: (1) a capacidade de assumir a fragilidade da condição humana, tão humana, (2) a capacidade de se tornar imune às ideologias, revelando-se moderado nas controvérsias dos tempos hodiernos e (3) a gratidão que permite a abertura para a comunhão com todas as criaturas, incluindo as não-humanas. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | As recounted in the Autobiographyand always faithful to the internal dynamics of the Spiritual Exercises, Ignatius of Loyola’s life is extremely relevant today. The thesis that I will put forward here consists in showing how the secular world, in which we are situated today, can be the adequate ground for the blossoming of a type of religious conversion that the founder of the Jesuits experienced in the 16th century and to which the Magisterium of the pontificate of Francis pointed to. This type of conversion is characterized by three essential features: (1) the ability to assume the fragility of the human, so human, condition, (2) the ability to become immune to ideologies, revealing oneself to be moderate in the controversies of the present times and (3) the gratitude that allows openness to communion with all creatures, including non-human ones. | eng |
