| dc.description.abstract | As narrativas constituem um objecto cada vez mais frequente da investigação social. O estudo das narrativas promete trazer mudança nos paradigmas e nos métodos de investigação bem como novas formas de análise do indivíduo e da sociedade. Podendo as narrativas ser perspectivadas de formas bem diversas, focalizaremos a nossa análise nas narrativas culturais, narrativas estas que se situam num nível intermédio entre os eventos concretos de Labov e a identidade abstracta de Ricoeur. Analisaremos as potencialidades desta abordagem centrando-nos em narrativas fílmicas ou fotográficas, nomeadamente o documentário premiado “Os Lisboetas” de Serge Trefaut e as fotografias de Sebastião Salgado sobre as populações migrantes. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | Narratives are a more and more frequent object of social investigation. The study of narratives promises to bring changes to paradigms and methods of investigation as well to the analysis of the individual and of society. Narratives may assume a variety of forms but we will focus our analysis on cultural narratives covering the middleground between the concrete events of Labov and Ricoeur’s abstract identity. We will analyse the potentialities of this approach focusing on filmic or photographic narratives, namely the awarded documentary of Serge Tréfaut “Os Lisboetas” and Sebastião Salgado’s photos about migrant populations. | por |
