| dc.description.abstract | Apresenta-se o estudo de uma instalação de captação, elevação e armazenamento de água existente no complexo industrial de salga de peixe, de época romana, de Tróia (Grândola, Portugal). Trata-se de uma captação em areias holocénicas, constituída por um poço estreito e alongado, de planta aproximadamente rectangular, de alvenaria. Admite-se que a água seria elevada por meio de uma roda de eixo horizontal apoiado na parte superior do poço, accionada por força humana. A água elevada era arnmzenada em um tanque existente no topo de estrutura suportada por três abóbadas de berço. Discute-se a utilização de água assim obtida, apresenta·se a cronologia provável da obra e procura-se reconstituir as suas condições de funcionamento. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | A study of an installation comprising a well, a water-lifting wheel and a tank storage in the Roman industrial complex of fish salting in Troia (Grândola, Portugal) is presented. The well, located in holocene sands, is long and narrow, and is built in mansonry.It is assumed that water would be lifted by means of a wheel with its áxis above the well top and being turning by treading. The water was lifted to a storege tank in the roof of a vaulted building. Their utilization is discussed, as well as the cronology of lhe building. Finally, as installation reconstruction is proposed. | por |
