Abstract(s)
O estudo situa-se entre os fenômenos da globalização que estão diretamente
relacionados ao processo de mundialização do capital e seus rebatimentos no
aprofundamento das desigualdades sociais, tendo como recorte epistemológico
o Movimento Nacional de População de Rua no Brasil e sua potencialidade para
romper com a invisibilidade social e estabelecer articulações translocais. Tem a
intencionalidade de trazer para os estudos globais, as estratégias de resistência
que estão se desenhando por esse grupo populacional, a reivindicação da
emancipação social, a complexidade que envolve o fenômeno e os desafios face
à exclusão social. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, utilizando entrevistas e
observação participante no trabalho de campo. A análise dos resultados da
pesquisa aponta para um processo organizativo que se caracteriza como um
movimento da “globalização contra hegemônica”, com seus reflexos e influências
que superam as fronteiras nacionais.
The study is located between the phenomena of globalization which are directly related to the process of globalization of capital and its repercussions in the deepening of social inequalities, having as an epistemological cut the Movement of the Homeless Population in Brazil and its potential to break with social invisibility and establish translocal articulations. It has the intention of bringing to global studies, the resistance strategies that are being designed by this population group, the claim of social emancipation, the complexity that involves the phenomenon and the challenges faced with social exclusion. This is a qualitative research, using interviews and participant observation in the field work. The analysis of the research results points to an organizational process that is characterized as a movement of “counter-hegemonic globalization”, with its reflections and influences that go beyond national borders.
