Abstract(s)
Nele a autora habita
Taking popular proverbs as a starting point (these being the author's childhood delights) and their potential as representatives of popular culture and a vast universe of images, a work of creative dance was created and developed with students from the 1st cycle of basic education. This work highlights the importance of developing and consolidating skills in the 1st cycle and how it is possible for creative dance, based on popular proverbs, to assume a remarkable role. Through the a/r/tographic approach, with carefully distributed autobiographical excerpts, which add meaning and humanity to this case study, it was possible to reveal and highlight the author's role as an artist/researcher and educator. In these pages, we follow a process of artistic creation filled with theory and pedagogical practices that have the ability to adapt to the changing circumstances. In it, the author inhabits the threshold spaces of her roles and functions. It also demonstrates the importance of the connection and complementarity between art and education for the full development of the Child of Today, Our Future of Tomorrow.
