Abstract(s)
Considerando a importância da cooperação entre as bibliotecas públicas e as escolares, este estudo pretenderá procurar no leque dos SABE (serviço de apoio às bibliotecas escolares) do distrito de Lisboa, recolher exemplos de boas práticas de
funcionamento e de cooperação. Pretende-se analisar os vários condicionalismos que levam ao desenvolvimento destas práticas e a forma diversificada como as várias questões que se colocam são resolvidas nos diferentes concelhos.
O objectivo deste estudo é pois, de algum modo, divulgar formas possíveis de implementar um trabalho de parceria e verificar de que forma essas parcerias são efectivamente implementadas e onde o trabalho efectuado vai ao encontro das
necessidades sentidas em cada concelho. Como ponto de partida, considera-se que apenas quando os SABE tomam consciência da importância desta cooperação a vários níveis e sentem a necessidade de a trabalhar intencionalmente com as bibliotecas
escolares poderão surgir exemplos de boas práticas.
Given the importance of cooperation between public and school libraries, this study will attempt to gather examples of good operating and cooperation practices within the range of SABE - Serviço de Apoio às Bibliotecas Escolares (school libraries support services) located in the district of Lisbon. The aim is to analyze a number of constraints that lead to the development of these practices as well as the diverse strategies used in and by the different regions of the district to solve the various issues that arise. Therefore, the purpose of this study is, to a certain extent, to promote possible ways of implementing a working partnership and to provide an assessment on how these partnerships are effectively implemented and where the work performed meets the needs of each region. As a starting point, it is deemed that examples of good practices derive from SABEs becoming aware of the importance of this cooperation at various levels and feeling the need to willingly commit into such cooperation with school libraries.
