Abstract(s)
Este artigo foi desenvolvido pelo Grupo de pesquisa: Prática Pedagógica no Ensino e Aprendizagem com Tecnologias Educacionais da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná. A pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa foi realizada por meio de observação participante na disciplina de Teoria e Prática na Educação a Distância, nos anos de 2010, 2011 e 2012 e envolveu um corpus de 35 alunos. O texto traz uma reflexão sobre a utilização das redes sociais na aprendizagem e a relação que o educador tem com elas. Apresenta-se um contexto educativo que aproxima práticas educativas e midiáticas intitulado como cultura educativa midiática, que traz como características:a diferenciação do papel do professor frente as tecnologias digitais, a necessidade de repensar o uso das diversas possibilidades midiáticas disponíveis no ciberespaço no contexto educativo que por sua vez esta inserido na cultura da convergência. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi o de entender como se dá o processo de utilização de redes sociais virtuais que envolvem a interface dacomunicação, bem como investigar se após o processo de utilização para sua própria formação estes apresentavam diferenças sobre seus pontos de vista. Os resultados demonstram que o Facebook é uma ferramenta que pode ser utilizada para aprendizagem formal de maneira interativa e colaborativa permitindo a diferença no fazer em sala de aula.
This article was developed by the Research Group: Pedagogical Practice in Teaching and Learning with Educational Technologies at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná. A qualitative study was conducted through participative observation in the discipline of Theory and Practice in Distance Education, in the years 2010, 2011 and 2012 and involved a group of 35 students. The paper presents a reflection on the use of social networks in learning and the relationship that the educator has with them. An educational context is presented on practical educational and media approaches named as media educational culture, which brings features such as: the differentiation of the role of the teacher facing digital technologies, the need to rethink the use of various media possibilities available in cyberspace in the educational context which in turn is inserted in the convergence culture. The objective of this research was to understand how is the process of using virtual social networks that involve the interface of communication, as well as investigating whether after the process of using these for their own training they presented differences about their views. The results show that Facebook is a tool that can be used for formal learning in an interactive and collaborative way allowing the difference in doing in the classroom.
