Nesta reflexão consideramos algumas das grandes festas egípcias (hebu ou uagu), a maioria relacionada com a celebração dos ritmos da Natureza: 1) a «Festa de Opet», 2) a «Bela Festa do Vale», 3) a «Festa de Khoiak», 4) a «Festa de Sokar» e 5) a «Festa da Boa Reunião».
As barcas portáteis das divindades, elemento material central em torno do qual se organizavam as várias operações e manifestações litúrgico-rituais das festas egípcias, merecem também a nossa atenção, no que diz respeito às suas características principais.
In this reflection we consider some of the great Egyptian feasts (hebu or uagu), most related to the celebration of Nature’s rhythms: 1) the «Opet Festival», 2) the «Beautiful Feast of the Valley», 3) the «Khoiak Festival», 4) the «Feast of Sokar» and 5) the «Festival of the Beautiful Reunion». The portable boats of deities and their main characteristics also deserve our attention, being the core material element around which the various operations and liturgical ritual manifestations of the Egyptian feasts were organized.
