Novos letramentos e inclusão educacional do surdo: uma análise da biblioteca virtual bilingue bibliolibras

O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar a biblioteca virtual Bibliolibras, à luz do novo ethos e refletir sobre como essa plataforma pode contribuir para o desenvolvimento dos novos letramentos da pessoa surda. O estudo insere-se no campo da Linguística Aplicada, com enfoque qualitativo e descritivo, buscando interpretar os fenômenos e atribuir significados sem recorrer a métodos estatísticos. A análise fundamenta-se em autores que discutem os novos letramentos, como Lankshear e Knobel (2007, 2011), Buzato (2014), Santaella (2004) e Lévy (2010). Os resultados apontam que a plataforma amplia as possibilidades de inclusão educacional da pessoa surda. No entanto, apesar da presença de uma linguagem híbrida e do potencial distribuição de conteúdo, observa-se a ausência de posturas colaborativas e participativas por parte dos produtores — elementos centrais do novo ethos.
This article aims to analyze the Bibliolibras virtual library in light of the new ethos and reflect on how this platform can contribute to the development of new literacies for deaf people. The study falls within the field of Applied Linguistics, with a qualitative and descriptive approach, seeking to interpret phenomena and assign meanings without resorting to statistical methods. The analysis is based on authors who discuss new literacies, such as Lankshear and Knobel (2007, 2011), Buzato (2014), Santaella (2004, 2008) and Lévy (2010). The results indicate that the platform expands the possibilities for educational inclusion of deaf people. However, despite the presence of a hybrid language and the potential distribution of content, there is a lack of collaborative and participatory attitudes on the part of producers—central elements of the new ethos.
