| dc.description.abstract | Como indica el título, se analizan en este texto los problemas de la unidad y la diversidad de Europa desde un punto de vista histórico. Se comienza por la cuestión de la geografía y de la frontera fluida con Asia y el norte de África. A continuación se trata si Europa se constituye como el área de una civilización que se afirma en el mundo. La división y el conflicto siempre han sido parte de la historia europea, pero después de las guerras que asolaron su territorio y disminuyeron su importancia en el escenario mundial, un pequeño grupo de líderes europeos se dio cuenta de que era necesario construir, de manera pragmática, la unidad política y económica. El proyecto cuenta con poco más de medio siglo, pero las dificultades a las que se ha enfrentado en diferentes momentos parece amenazarlo y, en varias ocasiones, se profetizó su fin. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | : It is discussed in this text, as the title indicates, the problems of unity and diversity of Europe from a historical point of view. Start by placing the question of geography and fluid border with Asia and North Africa. Then it can be seen as Europe constitutes itself as the area of a civilization which states in the world. The division and conflict have always been part of European history, but after the wars that devastated their territory and decreased its importance on the world stage, a small group of European leaders realized that it was necessary to build, pragmatically, the economic and political union. The project has just over half a century, but the difficulties facing in different moments seem to threaten it and, several times, was prophesied its end. | pt_PT |
