Abstract(s)
Hoje, a sociedade vem enfrentando muitos desafios principalmente no sector da educação,
neste sentido as escolas devem estar preparadas para acompanhar essa evolução e
encontrar respostas para tantos problemas.
É preciso que as escolas tenham a sua própria autonomia, reconhecendo as suas
características e pô-la ao serviço das grandes finalidades educativas. É neste sentido que,
reconhecendo a importância de elaborar um projeto educativo para a escola secundária
Pedro Corsino de Azevedo, nos propomos fazer uma caracterização aprofundada desse
contexto, identificando necessidades prioritárias e recursos e forças que permitam dar
respostas às necessidades e desafios que a escola enfrenta nos dias de hoje.
Contudo, a participação de todos os atores educativos no seu processo de elaboração é de
extrema importância, visto que é um documento que expressa a identidade da escola e os
objetivos que pretendem alcançar.
Neste trabalho apresenta-se a justificação, o problema de investigação e objetivos do
estudo, linhas gerais do enquadramento teórico, a metodologia a utilizar evidenciando os
passos, os instrumentos e os recursos a seguir para a sua elaboração.
O estudo utilizou uma metodologia eminentemente qualitativa, com recurso à análise
documental, entrevistas individuais, e inquéritos por questionário, aos professores, alunos,
pais encarregados de educação e funcionários não docentes. Os dados foram alvo de
análise de conteúdo (dados qualitativos) e estatística descritiva (dados quantitativos). A
analise documental centrou-se em documentos produzidos pela escola (como planos de
atividades, relatórios, atas, dossier dos alunos) de modo a obter alguma informação,
também foi feita a leitura e aplicação dos fundamentos teóricos sobre projetos educativos
de alguns autores, foi aplicada a entrevista à diretora, que permitiu-nos obter informações
a respeito das prioridades de intervenção na escola. Em relação aos inquéritos por
questionários utilizou uma metodologia de caracter qualitativo, como também
quantitativo e permitiu-nos fazer alguns cruzamentos entre as respostas obtidas. Constatamos que estamos perante uma escola com instalações adequadas e bem
equipadas, e que conta com um corpo docente suficiente, jovem e com formação
adequada.
Da investigação, o aspeto mais unanimemente salientado por todos os grupos inquiridos
corresponde à formação dos funcionários. Seguiu-se a promoção de atividades orientadas
para a solidariedade e a monitorização do sucesso, muito embora cada um dos grupos de
participantes expressasse diferentes prioridades.
Com este trabalho pretende-se construir um projeto educativo que venha contribuir para
promover o sucesso educativo, promovendo uma cultura de melhoria continuada do
funcionamento da escola, primar por bons resultados e um maior empenho de todos no
processo ensino aprendizagem.
Today, society has been facing many challenges, especially in the education sector, in this sense, schools must be prepared to accompany this evolution and find answers to so many problems. It is necessary that schools have their own autonomy, recognizing its characteristics and putting it at the service of great educational purposes. It is in this sense that, recognizing the importance of developing an educational project for the Pedro Corsino de Azevedo secondary school, we propose to make an in-depth characterization of this context, identifying priority needs and resources and strengths that allow us to respond to the needs and challenges that the school faces. nowadays. However, the participation of all educational actors in its elaboration process is extremely important, as it is a document that expresses the school's identity and the objectives it intends to achieve. This work presents the justification, the research problem and study objectives, general lines of the theoretical framework, the methodology to be used, highlighting the steps, instruments and resources to be followed for its elaboration. The study used an eminently qualitative methodology, using document analysis, individual interviews and questionnaire surveys involving teachers, students, parents in charge of education and non-teaching staff. Data were subjected to content analysis (qualitative data) and descriptive statistics (quantitative data). The document analysis focused on documents produced by the school (such as activity plans, reports, minutes, students' files) in order to obtain some information, reading and applying the theoretical foundations about educational projects by some authors was also done. The interview with the principal was applied, which allowed us to obtain information about the priorities of intervention at the school. Regarding the surveys by questionnaires, a qualitative as well as a quantitative methodology was used and allowed us to make some crosses between the responses obtained. We see that this is a school with adequate and well-equipped facilities, and that it has a sufficient, young and properly trained teaching staff. From the research, the aspect most unanimously highlighted by all the groups surveyed corresponds to the training of employees. This was followed by the promotion of activities oriented towards solidarity and the monitoring of success, even though each of the groups of participants expressed different priorities. The aim of this work is to build an educational project that will contribute to promoting educational success, promoting a culture of continuous improvement in the functioning of the school, striving for good results and a greater commitment by all in the teachinglearning process.
