Graça Morais, artista de destaque na arte portuguesa, utiliza as suas criações para estabelecer um diálogo com a Literatura e explorar a identidade feminina e a metamorfose. Este artigo examina o modo como as suas imagens visuais inspiraram escritores como José Saramago e Miguel Torga e analisa a relação entre a sua obra e temas como o lugar de origem e a transformação. Com uma abordagem crítica, o texto visa revelar de que forma a artista utiliza a arte para refletir sobre a condição feminina e a iconografia de Trás-os-Montes, evidenciando a continuidade entre as suas obras e a narrativa literária
