Descartes e da regra de Euler. Num apêndice são incluidas algumas planificações de poliedros que podem ser utilizadas para a construção de modelos
tri-dimensionais. Este texto foi produzido para apoio a um curso breve para
professores do ensino básico.
In the first chapter of this text we present some elementary geometric constructions using compass and unmarked ruler. In the second chapter we give a fairly elementary overview of polyhedra, including the study of Descartes’ theorem and Euler’s rule. An appendix contains a number of planifications of polyhedra that can be used for the construction of tridimensional paper models. This text was produced in support of a short course for elementary school teachers.
