Abstract(s)
A doença, com consequente necessidade de internamento, ausenta a criança dos seus meios (familiar, escolar, social) por vezes por tempos prolongados, implicando
prejuízos no normal percurso escolar e de forma mais geral, em todo o seu crescimento
e desenvolvimento. Com a intenção de minimizar tais consequências, promover
alternativas que permitam a continuidade dos processos intelectuais e de desenvolvimento global, o trabalho educativo em contexto hospitalar, ao mesmo tempo que cumpre as suas funções educacionais e deveres constitucionais, constitui uma proposta integradora de crescimento e desenvolvimento, obrigação de uma sociedade
responsável e inclusiva.

trabalho educativo desenvolvido em contexto hospitalar?
Que relação entre as representações e as práticas – a questão da autenticidade?
Illness, with the consequent need of hospitalisation, keeps the child away from their environment (family, school, social), sometimes for long periods, which jeopardises the normal course of their school performance and, in general, their overall growth and development. With the intention of minimising these consequences, the following proposal promotes alternatives which allow the continuity of the intellectual processes and global development, as well as the educational work in a hospital environment. At the same time the proposal complies with the educational purposes and constitutional duties of the hospital and integrates growth and development, which is the obligation of a responsible and inclusive society. Which social representations have the administration and educational management over the educational work developed in a hospital context? What is the relationship between the representation and the practices – the question of authenticity?
