Desemprego, saúde mental e migração: revisão sistemática

Abstract(s)
Realizou-se uma revisão de estudos empíricos sobre a relação entre desemprego em migrantes e impactos na saúde mental. Selecionaram se 18 artigos para Análise Temática. Foram categorias: centralidade do trabalho/desemprego vs. vulnerabilidades múltiplas; enfoque psicopatológico vs. sociolaboral; tempo de migração; idioma; e interseccionalidades. Os artigos reafirmam danos à saúde como impacto do desemprego, dialogando majoritariamente com o enfoque psicopatológico. O desemprego necessita uma apropriada discussão relacionada à migração e à saúde mental. Os dados sumarizados indicam a complexidade do cenário, dos múltiplos causadores e agravantes.
A review of empirical studies was conducted on the relationship between unemployment in migrants and impacts on mental health. Eighteen articles were selected for Thematic Analysis. The categories were: centrality of work/unemployment vs. multiple vulnerabilities; psychopathological approach vs. sociolabor; migration time; language; and intersectionality. The articles reaffirm damage to health as an impact of unemployment, mostly in dialogue with the psychopathological approach. Unemployment requires an appropriate discussion related to migration and mental health. The summarized data indicates the complexity of the scenario, the multiple causes, and aggravating factors.
