Ambientes pessoais de aprendizagem e Wikipédia: uma articulação (im)provável?

dc.description.abstractNo pressuposto de que a rede se apresenta como interface educativa, posicionamento que temos vindo a defender, a par da revisão da literatura, por um lado, e, por outro, dos vários estudos que temos vindo a concretizar, concluímos que os alunos dos diversos níveis de ensino acedem à Wikipédia, com diversas finalidades, inclusive para realizar trabalho escolar e académico. Neste contexto, assumimos o propósito de refletir sobre o papel da Wikipédia à luz dos ambientes pessoais de aprendizagem, em inglês, Personal Learning Environments. Para tal, socorremo-nos do suporte teórico inerente a Recursos e Práticas Educacionais Abertos, direcionando-nos para o movimento Wikimedia, que integra, entre outros projetos, a Wikipédia, para a perspetivar em articulação com o conceito de Ambiente de Aprendizagem Pessoal. E, procurando aprofundar a forma como ambos os conceitos interagem, enquadramos estratégias que temos vindo a explorar neste âmbito, nomeadamente consubstanciando modos de integrar curricularmente a Wikipédia, com vista a potenciar um Ambiente de Aprendizagem Pessoal mais produtivo, promotor de níveis literácitos elevados. Assim, assume particular relevo a enciclopédia da atualidade, a Wikipédia, como elemento presente nas aprendizagens formais, não formais e informais, pelo que importa dotar, quer docentes, quer discentes, da capacidade de análise crítica daquele recurso de informação enquanto parte do Ambiente de Aprendizagem Pessoal de cada indivíduo, também sob o desígnio da Educação de Qualidade.pt_PT
dc.description.abstractOn the assumption that the network presents itself as an educational interface, a position that we have been defending, along with the literature review, on the one hand, and, on the other, the several studies that we have been carrying out, we conclude that students, from different levels of education, access Wikipedia, with different purposes, including to develop school and academic work. In this case, we assume the purpose of reflecting on the role of Wikipedia in the light of Personal Learning Environments. To this end, we used the theoretical support inherent in Open Educational Resources and Practices, directing ourselves to the Wikimedia movement, which integrates, among other projects, Wikipedia, in order to consider it in perspective together with the concept of Personal Learning Environment. And, seeking to deepen the way in which both concepts interact, we frame strategies that we have been exploring in this context, namely consolidating ways to integrate Wikipedia in the curriculum, with a view to enhancing a more productive Personal Learning Environment, promoting high literacy levels. Thus, the current encyclopedia, Wikipedia, takes on particular importance as an element present in formal, non-formal and informal learning, which is why it is important to equip both teachers and students with the capacity for critical analysis of that information resource as part of the Personal Learning Environment of each individual, also under the goal of Quality Education.pt_PT
