Abstract(s)
Nijinski: O Sentimento (1998), estabelecendo relações com a posterior obra fílmica The
renovando as diferentes dimensões desta parceria.
This work aims to present a study of the literary work Cadernos de Nijinski: O Sentimento (1998), establishing relationships with the subsequent film The Diaries of Vaslav Nijinsky (2001), to better understand some of the implications manifested in the passage of a literary narrative to a film narrative. The fact that the film is based on the notebooks written by the dancer does not represent total dependence on the book, since although the works "dialogue" with each other, they reverberate, in the reader and in the spectator, a variety of impressions and feelings, often distinct. On the other hand, with dance being the focal point of both works, this investigation resulted in the crossing of three forms of artistic expression that intertwine and fertilize in an evident way. Over the years, the art of dance has been expressed by many people in different ways. Its encounter with cinema was very prolific, and this bond was strengthened in such a way that every year new productions were created or even recreated renewing the different dimensions of this partnership
