Abstract(s)
A narrativa literária é elemento basilar para a construção e formação do imaginário
coletivo.
Assim, a nossa pesquisa investiga idiossincrasias e eventuais
The literary narrative is a basic element for the construction and formation of the collective imaginary. Through traditional tales, but also those of the author, the individual, in particular, the child comes into contact with values transmitted by these narratives, develops reasoning capacity, enriches the relationships between language and creative thinking. It is known that the development of thought is influenced by language and this is directly associated with the cultural experience and imagery experienced by the subject, so it is extremely necessary to understand how social, political and cultural issues are transmitted to children from traditional tales. In this sense, the present study confronts the imagotype of the Rabbit, that is, the literary representation of the identity of this animal, in few children's literary narratives from different Portuguese-speaking countries of 3 (three) continents (Europe, America and Africa). Thus, our research investigates possible textual exchanges between traditional narratives of Portugal, Brazil and some Portuguesespeaking African Countries. Analyzing the imagotype of the Rabbit in texts of these nationalities in order to compare the diversities and similarities of the character in the behaviors, verifying if they form stereotypes relatable to issues of national identity.
