| dc.description.abstract | Estudam-se duas peças excepcionais, recolhidas nos finais do século XIX na serra do Brunheiro (Chaves), a cuja história J. Leite de Vasconcelos se encontra ligado. Trata-se de duas pontas bifaciais de sílex, de grandes dimensões, das quais uma, reduzida a metade, foi oferecida ao primeiro Director do Museu Nacional de Arqueologia, onde se encontra. Classificada, tal como o exemplar completo, mais tarde também dado a conhecer, como um biface acheulense, a revisão de ambos, agora realizada, conduziu à conclusão que se trata de uma alabarda do Neolítico Final ou do Calcolítico, de um novo tipo, somando-se, deste modo, aos tipos anteriormente conhecidos em território português deste grupo de artefactos. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | Two exceptional archaeological artefacts are studied, to which J. Leite de Vasconcelos can be related to. They are two bifacial flint points, collected in the end of the 19th century in the Brunheiro mountain, close to Chaves, being one complete and the other reduced by half. The latter was offered to Leite de Vasconcelos who took it to the Museum where he was Director, and it is still there today. It was previously classified as an Acheulean biface, like the complete one, published later. The revision of both performed now lead to their classification as halberds of a new type, from the Late Neolithic or Chalcolithic, being therefore added to the types previously described in the Portuguese territory for this group of artefacts. | por |
