| dc.description.abstract | Este estudo reflete, a partir da legislação em vigor, sobre as funções supervisivas e de coordenação do coordenador de departamento e as práticas de trabalho colaborativo. Tem, também, em consideração algumas outras referências legislativas que permitem observar a evolução das políticas no que concerne às lideranças intermédias, não só no contexto em que foi elaborado o estudo, mas também acompanhar o caminho que ultimamente tem vindo a ser delineado. O presente trabalho teve como finalidade perspetivar o papel do coordenador de departamento, no contexto das estruturas de liderança intermédia, estabelecendo uma relação com as práticas de trabalho colaborativo. Consiste num estudo de caso de índole qualitativa, numa perspetiva etnográfica, a partir de catorze entrevistas em profundidade a professores de uma escola básica e secundária não agrupada, na região da Grande Lisboa. Os dados resultantes das entrevistas foram cruzados e confrontados com documentos de escola, notas de campo elaboradas a partir da observação do quotidiano e de reuniões formais e não formais (Woods,1999). Para a análise e interpretação dos resultados foram convocados os conceitos de cultura de escola, de colegialidade e trabalho de professores, formas de colaboração e de supervisão e liderança pedagógica. Os resultados apontam para a diferença de olhares que perspetivam o perfil e o desempenho das lideranças, a configuração hierárquica das lideranças e as interações a nível organizacional e supervisivo. Questionamo-nos, também, sobre a evolução das práticas de trabalho colaborativo, considerando a estrutura organizacional da escola, a legislação que tem vindo a ser promulgada e o pendor reflexivo e democrático inerente à verdadeira colegialidade, conforme é defendida por vários autores. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This study reflects, from the legislation in force, on the supervision and coordination role of the Department Coordinator and on the collaborative work practices. It also has in consideration other references in terms of legislation, which allows the analysis of the evolution of the policies regarding the middle leadership, not only in the context in which this study was prepared, but also to monitor what has been recently outlined. the present work had as purpose to interpret the role of the Department Coordinator in the context of the middle leadership structures, bringing it in line with the collaborative work practices. It is a case study of qualitative nature, from an ethnographic point of view, based on fourteen depth interviews to teachers in a non-grouped basic and secondary school in the Lisbon region. The interviews resulting data were cross-checked and analysed having in mind school documents, field notes taken from the observation of routines and formal and informal meetings (Woods, 1999). For the analysis and interpretation of the results, the concepts of school culture, collegiality and the work of teachers, in particular, forms of collaboration and supervision and pedagogical leadership were brought together. The results point to the different way people perceive the profile and performance of the leaders, the leadership hierarchical configuration and the interaction at a supervision and organizational level. We question as well, the evolution of the collaborative working practices, considering the school organizational structure, the legislation that has been enacted and the reflective and democratic inherent nature of collegiality, as it is advocated by several authors. | pt_PT |
